Brianne Corcoran, College Application Consultant
Brianne Corcoran, the founder of Odyssey College Consulting, has a decade of experience with Harvard College admissions and is currently a member of NACAC. Brianne has interviewed prospective students since 2012 and served as co-chair of the Harvard Club of Long Island’s School & Scholarship Committee from 2017 to 2022. In this role, she was responsible for coordinating and reviewing interviews for well over a hundred applicants each season. In addition, Brianne was charged with training alumni for the interview process, including the correct protocol and how to identify students who stand out. She also attended numerous admission conferences and smaller sessions with senior Harvard staff. Although these events were school-specific, she feels they cover a broad range of what elite colleges are looking for in prospective students.

She has worked with students to create new organizations and junior boards, run fundraisers, research social sciences, and submit papers to prestigious essay competitions such as John Locke and The Concord Review. 
 
Brianne also has a decade of experience in Fixed Income sales, first at Barclays Bank in New York and then at Société Générale. She has always had a passion for mentorship and education—she coordinated the graduate training program at each institution and the summer internship program for Fixed Income products. More recently, she finished her first novel. Brianne’s qualitative and quantitative background enables her to connect with students across a range of academic interests.
 
Brianne’s professional network extends internationally. After living abroad in multiple countries, as well as having family and friends across the globe, she is excited to help both American and International candidates. Her strengths lie in helping students identify college and career aspirations, personal branding, creating a comprehensive target school list, essay ideation & editing, and interview preparation. She is fully committed to and passionate about making sure each student who works with Odyssey presents themselves in the best light and finds their best possible college fit, both academically and personally.
