College applications are daunting,
but they don't have to be.
How do I know? I have over ten years of experience interviewing applicants for the Harvard, five years co-chairing Harvard Club of Long Island's School & Scholarship Committee, and four years of college coaching. Using this knowledge, I will help you prepare and survive the college process by developing a unique strategy for each year of high school. By the time senior year rolls around, we will tackle applications with ease.
What makes me different? I believe in taking a personal approach to applications. I emphasize leveraging every student's strengths and passions while steering them away from "checking boxes." Every student is unique, so their path to college will be, too.
How do I do that? I ensure each student is given the individual attention and time to tie everything together to create authentic essays, establish a well-knit personal story, build confidence, and nail the interview.
100% of my students in the past two years were admitted to one of their top 3 choice schools.

OCC Services
I keep a small roster of students to ensure each one receives my full attention and as much guidance as they need (no matter how many essay revisions), regardless of where you are in the process—a four-year strategy or senior year push. Given the extent of my coaching and mentorship, I offer the following comprehensive services depending on where a student is in their journey.
1
Freshmen & Sophomores
The Plan: Now is the ideal time to start working with me because I will be able to get to know the student, their interests, and their strengths from the beginning of the process. Coaching at this level includes passion and strength discovery, laying out a plan for high school, building student confidence and leadership, and strategizing the path to their dream school.
2
Juniors
The Plan: With juniors, I lay out the path and timing to admissions—including strategies and coaching towards leadership roles and excelling in extracurriculars, senior year course selection, an ideal testing schedule for each student, planning college visits, narrowing down a college list, and thinking about teacher recommendations. I use various forms to help students keep track of their wins and challenges, reflections on schools, and essay ideas.
3
Seniors
The Plan: It's never too late to ask for help! I will help seniors finalize their college list, brainstorm & write their personal statement, fill out the common application (including prioritizing the activities list), and prepare them for interviews (if applicable). This will involve multiple meetings a week until applications are submitted.
